Rekids will collect together original tracks & remixes from the label’s expensive back catalogue in a series on digital mini-compilations, beginning with Rekids vs Germany.

September’s Rinse FM show was a Mojuba Records special with label owner Thomas Wendel assuming his Don Williams techno guise for a mix of some of his favourite turn of the millennium records, plus eclectic deep house star Sven Weisemann, who arrives on the show fresh from the release of his new album, Inner Motions.
Berlin-based all-vinyl show, Disco&Mercy, returns for their fourth Rinse broadcast. Regular presenter Dean Driscoll welcomes a pair of fellow UK ex-pats: Rekids co-founder Matt Edwards, AKA Radio Slave, and Work Them Records owner Spencer Parker, digging into their crates to spin recent vinyl purchases along with some old favourites.
Under a slew different aliases, the most famous being Radio Slave, Matt Edwards has become one of underground house and techno’s biggest names over the past decade, co-founding the Rekids imprint in 2006 with sub-labels Cabin Fever and Pyramids of Mars soon following. He joins Disco&Mercy this month following the release of his new Balance double CD mix compilation and the announcement of his new label, The Double R, which will focus on uncovering a new generation of talented & original techno producers.
Joining Matt and Dean will be Croydon’s Spencer Parker. With a discography including EPs on Rekids, Tsuba, Buzzin Fly and Ovum, plus a full length LP on Nic Fanciulli’s Saved Records, 2013 sees Spencer going from strength to strength, with a busy DJ & release schedule and regular sets at Panorama Bar. He launched his own label last year: Work Them Records has already featured Pittsburgh Track Authority, Arttu and Dana Ruh among its releases so far. Spencer appears on the show in the wake of his latest single, Change Yo Beat – his first release of his own on Work Them, which features a remix from previous D&M guest, Ostgut Ton’s Ryan Elliott.

Following guest mixes from Ostgut Ton heavyweights Nick Höppner and nd_baumecker back in March, Berlin host Dean Driscoll welcomes two of Germany’s finest purveyors of house music to Rinse FM for the third edition of Disco&Mercy’s takeover.
First up is Virginia, the latest addition to Panorama Bar’s roster of resident DJs, who recently made her debut on the club’s in-house Ostgut Ton label with ‘Loch & Hill’ EP. Perhaps best known as the voice behind Steffi’s house hit Yours, Virginia has been producing, DJing & lending her vocal talents to artists such as Steve Bug, Pier Bucci and Abe Duque since the late 90s . Since moving to Berlin from her hometown of Munich, her DJ sets have become hugely popular among Panorama Bar regulars for their exuberant blend of modern house with the warm analogue textures of the 80s and 90s.
Joining Virginia will be the bona fide house legend Ian Pooley. With a career spanning two decades and six studio albums, Ian is currently enjoying one of his best years yet; he dropped his ‘What I Do’ LP earlier in January via his own Pooled Music label, preceded by a single on the Dixon-operated Innervisions. Next month sees the release of a remix LP featuring reworks of What I Do tracks by Stimming and Delano Smith.
